From the exhibition's description: "Bearing in mind the provision of Polaroid photography – the image is unique and cannot be manipulated – in her series Things Anda Bankovska focuses on capturing individual objects, “things per se”. The various everyday objects that are captured in the photographs are glorified and given unusual importance by the massive frames, at the same time also objectifying the Polaroid photograph itself. Exhibited in this manner, Polaroid photographs as a vanishing technique become the last evidence of their own existence – like a colourful butterfly in a museum showcase, or the body of a rare insect in the collection of a natural scientist."

No izstādes apraksta: "Ņemot vērā momentfoto uzņemšanas nosacījumu – attēls ir vienreizējs un nav manipulējams, Anda Bankovska sērijā “Lietas” koncentrējas uz atsevišķu objektu fiksācijām - ‘lietām pašām par sevi’. Tā kā fotografēti tiek dažādi ikdienas priekšmeti, tos glorificē un tiem neierastu nozīmību piešķir masīvie rāmji, līdztekus objekta (lietas) statusā ievietojot arī pašu polaroid fotogrāfiju. Šādi izstādīti, momentfoto uzņēmumi kā izzūdoša tehnika kļūst par tās pēdējām liecībām – kā krāsains tauriņš muzeja vitrīnā vai reta kukaiņa ķermenis dabas pētnieka kolekcijā."
